Developing Informational Text Writing Skills of Gifted Students by Leveraging Writing Strategies

Designed as action research, this qualitative study aims to develop the informational text writing skills of gifted students through strategies “all about” books and frames for biographies. The group research consists 21 4th grade studying in field general mental ability a Science Art Center spring semester 2020-2021 academic year. An eight-week plan was prepared support development these students' write texts. first 4 weeks are planned with our books, last biography frameworks. data were collected student teacher diaries, observer reports, products Informational Text Writing Rubric. Content analysis used data. revealed that while at moderate level beginning, they reached high end process. Based on findings, some suggestions presented teachers researchers improve
